Are these accessories mandatory?
No, they are options. When replacing an existing blower, components already present can often be reused.
Even so we advise them as standard, purely to protect the blower: breakdown reports regularly show that a blower burnt out because a pressure relief valve was missing. That is why we always include the options in our quotation.
- Which accessories does a blower need?
"
| Component | Why |
|---|
| Intake or insert filter | Keeps dust and dirt out of the blower and out of the process |
| Pressure relief or limiting valve | Protects the blower against excessive counterpressure and prevents burnout |
| Check valve | Prevents water or medium flowing back into the blower |
| Silencer | Limits the noise level, especially during start-up |
| Acoustic enclosure | Extra damping when installed in or near occupied areas |
