Why does an irrigation water basin need aeration?
"
- A grower collects rainwater in a basin to irrigate the crops in the greenhouse
- That water has to keep moving: the bacteria then stay alive and the water stays clean
- Without movement and oxygen the water starts to smell and algae develop
